Sunset Beach in Shelter Island, Long Island, has to be one of our most favorite spots in the Hamptons. It is a super lowkey and chilled out spot with great food and ambience. Perhaps the closest thing the French Riviera this side of the Atlantic, the scenery is amazing, and there are always magnificent yachts that enthusiasts can enjoy seeing.

    Great, I can be out of there in a few hours. Clear out the second bedroom and leave a mint on my pillow.

    Damn, those photos are great. I really need to get out there this summer.

    Sunset Beach has a hotel, and i think the rooms are reasonably priced.
