Kiss and Fly

Randy Scott, pictured above on the right, is one of the city’s leading “Bottle Hosts”. Yeah it’s an actual job, and one that today will determine whether or not your club will sink or swim. Jaime Mulholland knew this all too well, which is why he picked up Scott from Marquee when he decided to open Cain. Pink Elephant also scouted him when they decided to open up shop in Southampton over the summer. You can read more about the career of the bottle host in an article from last February in the Times. This is what they had to say about Randy:
“Mr. Scott, a tall man with chiseled features in a custom-made black pinstriped suit, glided through the club’s V.I.P. area that night with the commanding air of Sirio Maccioni presiding over the dining room at Le Cirque. He paused to chat up old clients with the practiced calm of a cardiologist, and placed his hand on the shoulder of new ones as if it were a benediction. “
Knowing that Mr. Scott will lead us to a fun time, we got excited when we heard of the new club “Kiss and Fly” that is opening soon and that he is set to work at. Located on 13th street between 9th Avenue and Washington….a surprising location choice considering the state of meatpacking these days. Or maybe the area is in for a revival? Everyone’s been so caught up in 1Oak and Touch news that this seems to have gone off the radar, which is actually a sign that it may be decent. Only time will tell. I heard about this place last night too. It’s going to be in the old Air/Aer however the hell they spelled it. Opens Dec 10th…I think. Do we have high hopes?
I hear that this place is all hip hop and having problems with bugs, rats and mice excavation. Anyone else hear that?
high hopes for meat packing?? YEAH RIGHT! Its all bridge and tunnel promoters and the same ol promoters from Aer. its just a facade of a new name. same old same old bullshit in meatpacking dist. Dont get your hopes up.

The place will surely host the crem de le crem of NYC nightlife. Excpect lots of celebs and A-listers …and high bottle minimums. he place will feature sexy house music on most nights. Sorry B&T I hear that your Aer VIP cards is no go there! You’re not getting past Randy!!!

i was there last week. i didnt get the bridge n tunnel feel at all!!! the place was filled with hot guys (at least 5 to 1 guys over girls…maybe 10/1). id be there every day if it were open every day. i luved it!!!!! i kiss you fly.

The old aer space? NYC nightlife is a joke and this is the funniest one told yet. Randy Scott is a joke and was washed up 10 years ago with the Von Brocks. If your over 40 get a real job already dude. Bottle host isnt a real job. Contribute to society you pathetic leetches and stop milking the guidos out of 5 bottles and do something with your life. As far as Cain is concered, profitable yes, crowd wise, utterly frighting. Felt like a New Dehli market in there
