DJs Graham Funke and StonerokkDJ’s Graham Funke and StoneRokk – two DJ’s who became friends and have owned the music/party/club scene ever since. The boys are based out of LA but do events in New York and Las Vegas among others and StoneRokk AKA Michael Stone was born and raised in Queens. They have worked for Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Christina Aguilera and have a close friend in DJ AM.

As of yesterday Jour et Nuit has closed its doors. This favorite hotspot of GuestofaGuest was home to many Monday night Rockband parties. It was the brainchild of twin brothers Derek and Daniel Koch, who began their restaurateur tutelage at Le Bilbouquet.
According to the horse’s mouth, business was thriving and was not the reason for the closing, but rather a constricting and costly lease dispute with their landlord that has dragged on in the courts since JEN’s inception.
Daniel and Derek say that they are “looking at many different options, which include possibly moving to a new location, or building a new space with a similar concept.” We wish Daniel and Derek the best of luck, we will miss JEN, but we know these talented doppelgangers will have an awesome swanky new space in no time.
Actually business was horrible. check it out their empire is crumbling. Fredricks on Madison is avaible for sublease because they can no longer pay the rent. Fredrics downtown is always a ghost town and Now their new spot Jour Et Noit is closed. Sounds like they are in trouble

I have no DOUBT that Derek and Daniel with venture onto something bigger and better than dealings with Fredrick. You can’t put Derek and Daniel even in the same class level as Fredrick…

who cares about bunch of snobs who got what they deserve

this sucks.
