Some of you may remember the infamous spot BED on 27th street that was shutdown when a patron was killed after falling down the elevator shaft during an altercation. According to Goodnight Mr. Lewis, Mansion and Pink Elephant are teaming up to reopen the spot.
Mark Baker and the Mansion Crew have joined forces with the Pink Elephant crew, Alex Martini, Yura and a host of others to get Bed”s rooftop reopened for the upcoming season.
Certainly a good move during the time of year when everyone and their brother is looking for a rooftop to blow off some steam. In the past, BED was pretty hot on Sundays in the summer from late afternoon to sunset (especially for those who didn”t make it out to the Hamptons that particular weekend). But aside from that, BED wasn”t really remarkable or known for much else. It will be interesting to see what this new iteration looks like.
