Down With The Free-ness
Dunkin Donuts, that bastion of cinnamon-glazed denial (I”ll only have half a jelly doughnut!), is making it difficult for the weak among us. Today is their Free Iced Coffee Day, complete with a Facebook registration option that lets the yut”s know how plugged in Dunkin Donuts really is. Or at least what their 19 year old office slave thinks is cool. So! Before you pad your abs with delectable sugary pastries, be sure to stop by Mickey D”s for the Southern Style Biscuit and Chicken Sandwich (what?) today while it”s still free, though the open heart surgery will cost you! Note: their promotional website is some sort of strange hybrid between that Jennifer Lopez televised dance atrocity and super fun stereotypes (click on the “Hip Hop” music option)!
The Lowdown: DD will let you sample one of 9 flavors (French Vanilla, Toasted Almond, Raspberry, Hazelnut, Coconut, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Caramel, and Blueberry) or create your own flavor by combining 2-3 flavors. That”s right Blueberry Toasted Chocolate can be yours! Redemption! It”s from 10am-10pm.
As far as McDonald”s goes, I suggest standing directly outside the nearest sewage treatment plant and getting the same experience, without the purchase of a drink! Great fries, though.
