I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter- Tonight At Bar Martignetti’s Bellas
Wasn’t I JUST talking about the importance of the Monday night parties, after the wave of hot spots Johnny Utah’s/Upstairs/Jour et Nuit/Butter were all vying for your “still-clinging-to-your-weekend-hangover” selves? It is a well known fact in the nightlife industry that launching a successful weekly Monday night party is, although very hard to do, imperative to establishing a name for yourself (how do you think Amy Sacco got her start?)
Guess what? The Dorrian’s of Broome Street, Bar Martignetti’s wants in. Tonight is round two of their “I can’t believe it’s not Butter” night. According to our source, the party will:
“begin smoothly with some deep electronic house, and transition through the night from funky to electro to minimal house. There is table service available for those who wish it. And otherwise its a great atmosphere for those who would like to either chat or dance. Whichever your hearts desire.” DJs: Varick and Carolyne. Time:10-4
We wish them the best of luck, taking over Monday night is no small fete. However, the team at Bar Mart’s seem to be more prepared than most….They have the sexy flyer (see photo above), they have the hot location in the heart of Soho, and, most importantly they have all those cute prepster trust funders just DYING to spend their hard earned dollars.
