Helping Governor Patterson Pay His Call Girls
A federal court yesterday ruled that our money is discriminatory against blind people. Complaining that they had no way of determining the dollar amount currency by touch alone, The American Council for the Blind took Uncle Sam (and Washington and Franklin) to court. Some of the tricks blind folks use to tell a five from a fifty: dog earring the corners of certain bills, using credit cards instead, and generally just placing their financial fate in the hands of well-meaning cashiers.
As you can imagine, this grew old very quickly and the court ruled in their favor on Tuesday. There seems to be no downside to instituting a braille feature on bills and it”s not yet known what the U.S. Mint will do.

Ugh. This is bad news. Pretty soon the only people left to make fun of will be midgets.
While I approve of yet another way to make money even more counterfeit proof than ever, I’m beginning to question when it’s going to cost more than a buck to make a buck.
in the uk, bills are different sizes and colours, makes great sense when you are in a hurry to find a bill, and you aren’t blind.
of course, they all have the queen on them, but, hey, george would love to have his picture on bills…so *shrug*
(laughing over the spam word being borrow…you set these up, don’t you?)
