It was all about the ballerinas and their pirouettes last night as The New York City Ballet held their Opening Night Gala Tuesday night at Lincoln Center, marking their first performance in the newly named David H. Koch Theater, home to the NYCB and The New York City Opera. Guests like Sarah Jessica Parker, Veronica Webb, Alicia Keys, Al Roker, Blythe Danner, and Vanessa Williams were invited to an evening of ballets chorographed by legends Jerome Robbins, George Balanchine, Susan Stroman, and NYCB’s ballet-master-in-chief Peter Martins.

Know where the best pre-Thanksgiving Day party is? Have a secret that you are just DYING to share? Stanley is great at keeping secrets (not really but he does tricks in exchange for party invites). You can easily nourish his soul by sending in tips. Have something Stanley should know? Share with him by emailing tips@guestofaguest.com, and give a dog a bone. Ruff!

This is a little bit different from those Greenhouses that I spent so many hours in over my college Biology courses. Those labs would have been admittedly a lot better had they been serving us all cocktails. Alas my two favorite things have finally meshed. Science and Partying. I’m not sure how much learning is taking place in the newest club by Jon B, but one things for sure: there are a lot of bottles. Kate Miltner gives us an inside look (from last night’s Thrillist party), at the club that has been on our radar for some time.

A Fashion Contest? A Secret Location? One hour for a design team to construct a dress out of a surprise material? We were intrigued. And we, along with the folks at RACKED, were curious enough to stop by the LVHRD (”Live Hard”)’s Fifth Annual Fashion Duel in Williamsburg. When we found out the theme this year was to Nena’s song “99 Luftballoons” we were besides ourselves (love that song!).
So the two teams, (one was “Love Brigade” and the other “Hannah Shaw”), were given 99 red balloons and instructed to make a dress that would bring about the end of the world. Read the full rules below.

So our friend Julia Allison (in photo with her adorable and stylish grandmother), has been blogging up a storm about “Wife Fluffers” (you know the girls that are the last in line to date a guy before he marries the immediate next catch, the “pre-wife coach” as Momster Allison calls them). Poor Julia claims she has been a “wife fluffer” EIGHT times! “You should turn that into a dating service” says ex-Radar, page sixer Neel Shah. What do you think? Would you use the service? The conversation between the two follows:
