The Eldridge is continuing its path of total world domination this year with its participation in the fun that is going down in Park City, Utah starting today!

They have rented out the Hollywood Life House and will be there tonight, as well as Monday and Tuesday nights hosting the party.  Naeem is on the invite as door man, and, coincidentally Scott has decided to stay as far away from Sundance as possible.  We will be there, checking in on a couple other people.  Click below for more details:

[Blogalites:  Micah Jesse, Emily Brill, trio Meghan Asha, Julia Allison, Mary Rambin]

Well not exactly.  While you will see them out and about town, generally speaking they won't be wearing the large over-the-top gowns (but perhaps costumes), and they spend more time behind computer screens than lunching or behind flash bulbs.  Enter the next generation of "socialites" or "blogalites" as we've decided to coin them.  Whether a paradigm shift as a result of the falling economy, or a new tech-savy bread, these stripped down Gawker-described fameball microcelebs are taking a post-human approach and have been furiously creating blog appendages to their current selves over the past year.

Some seek fame, some seek fortune or more specifically "fuck you money", and for some it's simply unclear what their motivations are.  More»

The website "Daily Routines" has become one of my favorite reads.  It's basically a collection of  how interesting people organize their days.  It's a self-reflationary time for me, especially when I realize that I need much different sleeping patterns.  Here's a sample, who said this:

"I am a completely horizontal author. I can't think unless I'm lying down, either in bed or stretched on a couch and with a cigarette and coffee handy. I've got to be puffing and sipping."

Merkato 55 may be bringing out the rosé to help cure your winter time blues, but do you see anyone pouring it on their tanned, half-dressed bodies down there?  The answer is no.  And it's not because the girls are more refined.  It's a pure weather issue.  It's freezing out, and even among the most imaginative of the bunch, it's hard to think of using rosé as a tool to cool off when it feels like you could cut through glass with your....well you get the point. (Feel free to prove us wrong ladies).  Today, some inspiration from Pink Elephant, Capri in Southampton '08 to help keep you warm.  I have rounded up some of my favorite best $2k shots from our sister site.  And, don't worry, when temperatures start to get REALLY BAD, we still have DUNE's to go through!

Mickey Rourke shocked the entertainment biz with his comeback performance in The Wrestler, followed by his win for Best Actor knocking out Hollywood heavyweights Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Sean Penn at Sunday night's Golden Globes. He celebrated his win Monday night in L.A. at Gordon Ramsay at the London for the Golden Globes party held by Niche Media's (and Rourke pal) Jason Binn and Los Angeles Confidential Magazine.

Everyone knows that the best thing about an awards show is the parties that follow them.  And, the top post parties for the Golden Globes last night belonged to HBO (who held their party at Circa 55 Restaurant in Beverly Hills), and NBC/Universal (who held their party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.  So who had the better after party?  You be the judge.  Below, guests at HBO's....

ASW's ASMALLMAGAZINE is up and running. And, with their presentation of the top NYC Socials last issue, they had to have a counterpart for our sister city, London.  Not an ASW member?  No worries, read below from their "Village People: Field Guide to London's Ladies-About-Town":

"Londoners will often describe their city as a collection of villages, each as different from each other as are London’s various social scenes. In Camden, for example, the music scene reigns supreme, whilst a day in Shoreditch is as good as any fashion show. The Hills (Notting and Primrose) are both meccas for yummy mummies, but the former is glossy and groomed, to the latter's artfully dishevelled reformed rocker. Each village has a leader of course – the public persona that typifies the village in style and personality. Here's our guide on matching the face to each place."

Place: Primrose Hill
Neighbours: Sadie Frost, Pearl Lowe, Davinia Taylor, Alice Sykes
Origin: The modeling or music world. This girl's a semi-reformed rocker merging a heady social life with virtuous macrobiotic existence.
Style Stakes: Stylist friends rustle up ingenious vintage finds from 80s YSL to original Biba.
Arm candy: A guy who can wear skinnier jeans than her – some musical prowess also required. Kate's current partner in crime is Jamie Hince of The Kills. More»

Feast your eyes on the Pink Elephant of Sao Paulo.  Nights are getting a whole lot more interesting down in Brazil.  The decor may not be anything special, but the girls are (even though I have a hard time admitting this), decidedly more beautiful.  What is in the water down in Brazil that makes these women so HOTTT?! What's worse....the men are actually LESS attractive than their NY counterparts.  No wonder all of my guy friends take want to move to Sao Paulo right now.  Anyway, here it is, part one of Pink's total world domination.
