While it’s quite obvious that former Wall-Streeters are no longer endowing nightlife with their hard-earned and highly-leveraged funny money, the more interesting question is: how many people inside the likes of 1Oak, Tenjune, Bijoux, Greenhouse, etc., are now actually paying? It seems the few people who can actually “afford” to be popping bottles as of late are the same ilk who never had to pay in the first place–the promoters, model wranglers and their captives girls. We laugh, we sang, and we danced our way through the festivities uptown last night.  After stopping by the Victor Demarchelier/Alexandra Richards party at Mina Gallery in Astor Place, we headed WAY uptown to join the UES’drs at the Frick Collection Young Fellows Ball. Afterward, everyone headed to the St. Regis Hotel’s Aston Court for the La Perla-Clandestine Interlude where this gentleman tickled the old ivories for everyone’s amusement.  Guests at St. Regis included…

Wednesday night, we joined our amazing friends from The Pink Agenda, to help celebrate with a grand old party at the Eldridge.  Marisa Lee, the founder, and Liana Guzman are truly leading ladies that lit up the room.  The occasion? Fun, and a little tribute to Marisa’s mom, who battle with breast cancer inspired the founding of the Pink Agenda. “Let’s drink to my mom, a woman who loved distractions: beautiful dresses, pretty girls, delicious cocktails and cute boys.” Mom would have approved…the room was abundant with them all.  They gave away a weekend stay at the Hotel on Rivington, had scrumptious appetizers from Brett David.  Not to mention the Svedka drinks, in a signature Pink Agenda cocktail, with the help of the gracious Eldridge staff - Matt Levine of course, Michelle Jimenez, and DJ Mia Moretti, who volunteered on her birthday!.  Go HERE to read all about the Pink Agenda, and click below to catch up on our previous posts…

Last night Hamptons Undercover & Quintessentially made the token “Hey baby, what’s your sign?” an acceptable pick up line again with their “what’s hot in 2009” party, complete with astrological forecasting and on-demand giveaways from Atlantic City & Mint Cars. Here at GofaG we judge you by your goody bags, and Hamptons Undercover passes with flying colors. Held at the the sensuous Cain Luxe guests did not go home disappointed.

Green-minded guests stepped out at (where else?) Greenhouse last night for the launch of the Waterkeeper Alliance’s national campaign The Dirty Lie (insert your own dirty joke here), which raises awareness about the devastating effects of the coal industry on our environment. The foundation’s chairman, environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was there with his son, Bobby Kennedy, (who looks absolutely thrilled to be there..NOT!), while other notable guests included Andre Balazs, Gloria Reuben, Nicole Milller, and new parents,Tatiana and Campion Platt.
