The Coffee Cuff. A cool idea, this fashion wrist cuff is also a coffee sleeve made of reclaimed black walnut veneer, but at $65 it’s a hefty sum to spend on something that they hand out free at Starbucks. Still, this would be a fun gift to give that coffee/fashionista friend of yours.

This week’s Fame Game Featured “Mover and Shaker” is Cameron Silver, the vintage clothing designer and society-personality about town who rose 3.5% in this week’s “SOCIETY + PHILANTHROPY” category, rising above the glamorous Anne Slater. Cameron is a former cabaret singer who got his start in LA when he opened up the vintage boutique Decades on Melrose. Since then, he has expanded his fashion powerhouse to NYC and London and has made a reputation for being the source for glamorous vintage couture fashion. More»

Last night, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) hosted a “Forces for Nature Benefit” at 583 Park Avenue. NRDC is the nation’s most effective environmental action group combining the grassroots power of 1.2 million members and online activists with courtroom clout and expertise of more than 350 lawyers, scientists and other professionals.
