[Kelly Bensimon, Kristian Laliberte: a match made in heaven? ] via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon threw a pie party (blueberry if you’re wondering) at her East Hampton home on Further Lane.  Kristian and Devorah were obviously in attendance, but we want more details! Thankfully Douglas, (who’s a BIG fan apparently of Bensimon), checked out the party and gave us the full report. MORE>>>

Photos by JONATHON ZIEGLER for PMc] A set of iconic photographs taken by famed photojournalist, Allan Tannenbaum, have been condensed into his new book “New York In The 70s” which launched at a reception at Not Fade Away gallery yesterday.  The book features everything from parties to politics in the heyday of the 70s.  Pop icon Randy Jones showed up in his cowboy hat, along with Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen, Tia Walker, and Reni Lane.  More photos below.. Town Docks Start to Slowly Fill InEagerly awaiting the onset of summer, sailors in 230 competing yachts descended upon Cape Cod last weekend to take part in the 38th Annual Figawi Race Weekend. A relatively prominent race, “The Figawi” attracted sailors from all around New England.  The beloved fun race featured a Friday night kickoff ball at Hyannis Yacht Club and a 19-nautical-mile race from Hyannis, MA to Nantucket, MA on Saturday. Via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: Designer and “hipster icon” Steven Alan just opened an East Hampton pop up store for the summer and, after meeting him last Sunday, team GofG Hampton couldn’t wait to get their hands on an interview with him.  They found out that Steven is as laid-back and cool as his clothing. The Hanger. Ferran Lajara has this cool collection on their site called “Active Furniture,” objects which try to keep users physically active by creating new relationships. My favorite? These cool mountain climbing posts you install on your walls.  They serve as both hooks for clothing, and a rock-climbing-esque wall in your house!  Awesome.  No word on where to actually buy this “wall kit” but maybe you could make your own version?

The Y Society presented their Green Gala at Greenhouse Wednesday night to raise funds for the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.  Drinks specials and a silent auction were the highlights of the night.  The silent auction included enticing tidbits like a TV show walk-on row, David Letterman VIP tickets, and flight lessons.  We can’t help but wonder if guests let out their inner Village People in a rousing rendition of the YMCA danceMore»

[Liam McMullan hanging out in Hampton Tree]

Man about town Liam McMullan, son of famous photographer Patrick McMullan, has quickly become a regular fixture in the NYC “scene.” Whether he’s off working on a project in film, music, fashion, or, most recently, photography, we have had Liam on our radar from the get-go. Which is why, I’m ecstatic to announce that Liam will be officially joining the Guest of a Guest team. We’re not quite sure what this means yet, (as anyone who knows Liam personally, knows that he can be anything but predictable), though we are already salivating over the albums from his weekend out east-he was one busy kid. He visited Kelly Bensimon’s Party, Lily Pond, The Harbor Club, and Surf Lodge, and he even had time to monkey around in trees! More»
