New York celebrated gay pride yesterday with the parade during the day and parties all over the city during the evening. I played co-host to probably the only party where the guests kept their shirts on. The party was called Pride and was presented by Mr. Patrick Duffy, along with media sponsor Interview Magazine and liquor sponsor Belvedere vodka. More»

[Bruno dazzles the crowd at the Sydney premiere of his flick. All images via Getty] Everyone’s favorite gay Austrian fashion journalist made his way down under as part of the promotional tour for his aptly self-titled movie Bruno. And what’s a Bruno premiere without wacky hijinks? Right before British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen arrived in character, an impostor escorted by a group of barely-clothed men and women pulled up to the theater in a pink stretch Hummer. More»

Monday night guests gathered in Bryant Park to celebrate the opening of Southwest Airlines‘ Porch, as the company routes its first flights through LaGuardia Airport, this summer. All photos via Getty.] Justin Timberlake might be the quintessential American boy band star, but his fashion line William Rast has ambitions overseas in the Old World. Just yesterday, they hosted a fashion show in the London store Selfridges featuring their Fall ‘09 collection, which is themed “New America,” interestingly enough. They’re also expanding to Paris and Berlin, where they’re throwing shows and setting up “pop-up shops” in various designer stores in the coming weeks. More»

Stanley is loving the hot sun. He’s up on the roof already ordering tacos and mojitos. He’s apparently taking an early 4th of July holiday break. Alas, we once again need your help doing his job. Do you have a party that you are dying to see up on GofG? Feed it to Stanley! Share with him by emailing tips@guestofaguest.com, and give a dog a bone. Ruff!
[Photos via Cobrasnake]. Oh spin the bottle. Back when life was simple. The game is no longer just a source of nostalgia. It now doubles as the namesake for what is turning into a popular Monday (aggressive kids, aggressive) party at the Roxy in Los Angeles, co-sponsored by the man-behind-the-camera himself with Vitamin Water Sync and T-Mobile Sidekick. The all-ages affair isn’t for the nerds, drawing big names such as Steve Aoki and DJ A.M. into the legendary club to entertain the kiddies. More»

This weekend’s gay pride celebrations came to an end last night with PRIDE, an exclusive invite-only party, at held at The Standard. Pegged as a “new take on pride festivities,” PRIDE set itself apart from the “norm of raucous, semi-nude, spandex clad parties,” attracting a crowd of LGBT heavyweights in fashion, art, politics, and culture. Hosts included staples in New York City’s social scene and gay community such as Alan Cumming (who seemed to be at every party this weekend), Scott Buchheit, Patrick McMullan, Sophia Lamar, and others.
