We asked our first group of "You Should Know" influencers if they could remember their favorite songs from childhood. Some of their answers may surprise you and others may have you taking your own walk down memory lane. From Whitney Houston to Dolly Parton, Radiohead, The Beach Boys, and The Cramps, no two song choices were alike. For an old-school playlist inspired by some of our favorite people in New York City, including Casey Neistat, Nick Wooster, June Ambrose, and Fern Mallis, click through our Week One Playlist!
We know, we know. You're all completely over the word "selfie." Fair enough. However, bear with us, because we have to use it one more time to talk to you about selfie photo shoots. In five easy steps, we'll show you how to capture that perfect selfie that thankfully, isn't remiscnent of a late '90s/early 2000s MySpace profile pic. (You can thank us later.)

How long do we spend trying to find accessories that will play up our outfits without looking like we tried to hard? If you've ever gone to the office with the intention of going out straight from work, then an easy way to switch an outfit from day to night is through jewelry. But this can be risky, as some earrings that work at night are just too much for the daytime. To save on time, hassle and money, try some of these versatile pieces that you can wear both at work during the day and out at night.
Finding love is fabulous. We're all for holding hands, cute texts, and sharing your life with that special someone. At Fi3’s L.A. fashion and culture fair back in July, one menswear brand lassoed our attention—Freenote. The vintage-inspired clothing was well-tailored and almost uniform-like, but in an elegant fashion. Brothers Matt and Andrew Brodrick founded Freenote in 2013 in Southern California. The Brodricks worked with Electric, a premium eyewear and lifestyle company for ten years, building the brand. What separates Freenote from numerous California-based clothing companies, is that the company manufactures all its clothing in the States. The look is classic American menswear and made for men who appreciate quality and style. We had a chance to talk with the Brodricks about their company, their obsessions, and their stylish tips for guys.
Let's be honest, we're not all tennis experts here. With the US Open in full swing and all the talk about it, here's what you need to know about who's who, who to keep an eye on, and who is just good old fashioned eye candy. The fan-favorite Rafael Nadal may be the men's defending champion, but he will be sitting out this year with a wrist injury. Serena Williams, the women's defending champion, on the other hand will face some intense rookie competitors. Read on to get the full scoop!
