Welcome to this side of paradise, otherwise known as New York City. Getting past the “No Vacancy” sign outside isn’t always easy, but that's where we come in. So come along for the ride and be the Guest of a Guest as we bring you the people, places, and parties of NYC; from the paved streets of Uptown, to the cobblestone roads of Downtown and everywhere in between.

Editor-in-Chief

Rachelle Hruska: From the center of the country (Nebraska) to the center of the universe (NYC)...I had a rock collection that I polished everyday...this and playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the neighborhood boys was pretty much how I spent all of my free time from 1991-1993.

Publisher

Cameron Winklevoss: Row row row your boat, quickly down the stream.

Managing Editor

Chiara Atik: A playwright and blogger from San Diego, California, and a graduate of NYU's Department of Dramatic Writing. Chiara prides herself on being able to secretly text message without ever taking her phone out of her pocket or breaking eye contact. She is also the (self-proclaimed) world's leading expert on The Sound Of Music.

Event Manager

Sarah Kunst: Born in the middle-of-nowhere Blanchard, Mich. and raised in cornfields, Sarah Kunst majored in about four things before settling on advertising and joined the staff as an event manager in NYC. She’ll be the third Sarah on staff because everyone’s parents got unoriginal in the ‘80s.

Writers

Billy Gray: Billy grew up just outside New York City and is now happy to be in the middle of the action. He was a History & Literature major and still working on that whole "marketable skills" thing. In the meantime, he’s a movie addict who, when not at Film Forum or the Landmark Sunshine, is probably scarfing down pirogi at Veselka or sipping a beer at Lucy’s with his favorite octogenarian bartender.
Cary Randolph Fuller: Armed with English and history degrees from the University of Missouri, Cary abandoned the wide open spaces of the Show-Me State to try her luck in New York City - just as Life As We Knew It fell apart in 2008. These days when not breaking the big stories for Guest of a Guest, she trains for the 2010 National Marathon, attempts to skateboard, and searches far and wide for the eternal summer. If you see her around town, be sure to ask after her as-yet-unpublished Great American Novel.
Natasha Storer: The token Aussie on the team. Coming from the land of beaches, we didn't expect someone quite so pale - a result of her Finnish mother. Having completed degrees in Sport Management and Media, Natasha came to NYC pursue her love of Billy Joel, and teach the world to say "mate". A lover of movies, karaoke, cocktails, glitter, AFL (that's hot Australian men running around in tight shorts kicking a ball around) and baseball - Natasha quickly learnt to keep her love of the Boston Red Sox under wraps when walking the not-so Sex and the City streets of New York.

Photographers

Sunny Norton: Since I was 7 years old, I would watch my father photograph people like it was a science, a subject I hated in school, lol. And when I turned 8 years old I asked my dad for my first camera and my passion began. I started taking photos of my family enjoying life. My career was written then, now I'm featured all over the internet and I have been on television for my work. I want my photos to represent excitement from every angle and I want to help sculpt someone's history with a photo I took today!
Josh Wong: From weddings and fashion shows to celebrity bashes and gallery openings, Josh Wong applies his eye for detail, sense of artistry and splash of spontaneity to portray the spirit and essence of any occasion. The result is a distinctive top-caliber blend of contemporary photography with photojournalism. In taking pictures, Josh Wong’s philosophy is to keep it simple and let the images speak for themselves.
