Everything You Need To Know This Week On New York's Art Scene

Carsten Höller, "Experience"

Apart from drinking too much champagne at the New Collectors Party, the best way to see the art world spinning is at the New Museum’s Carsten Höller show, where a 102-foot-long slide whirls visitors down two floors of playground-inspired artwork. Interactive installations include the stunning Mirror Carousel and the Giant Psycho Tank, where guests can float weightlessly in a sensory deprivation pool. No peanut galleries here - these artful attractions are not to be missed!

Exhibit through January 22 at the New Museum, 235 Bowery. Third Floor Gallery closes January 15. Arrive before 4:30 to ensure entrance. Children under 18 must be adult-accompanied. More information HERE.
