Interview: Zara Larsson, Star Of Clinique's New #PlayWithPop Campaign

by Jina Huh · March 17, 2016

We can't stop watching Clinique's new "Play With Pop" interactive music video featuring pop singer, Zara Larsson. The options will lure you to stay and play. The video is composed of Zara singing four different versions of her catchy hit song, "Lush Life": Acoustic, Dance, Country, Pop. For each version, she looks completely different and there's a corresponding lip look.

For Acoustic, Zara wears a bare nude. For Country, the Epic Records star flaunts a bold red. You can switch from genre to genre without missing a beat! Pretty brilliant outside-the-lipstick-box work by Melissa Knapp (SVP, Global Creative) who also created the empowering #FaceForward campaign.

Zara's her own woman. She loves what she loves: singing, nude and red lips, Beyoncé and sunglasses! She says what she means, and means what she says. She's serious about her career, but doesn't take herself too seriously. One senses that she knows that the lush life, like the video, is about options, movement and having a blast. A pop song today; a dance song tomorrow! Lipstick on Monday; lacquer on Tuesday! Sweden, London, New York, L.A. This firecracker is ready to play on the big stage, as attendees at the NYLON + Clinique SXStyle "Play With Pop" party on Saturday night saw and chatted about with nude and plum and red and pink lips.
