Central Park Conservancy’s 14th Annual Halloween Ball

The spirit of Halloween comes to life in Central Park at this annual event. This non-traditional black-tie gala features over-the-top costumes, spooky dacor, dancing and a whimsical celebration of the haunted season. The most anticipated part of the evening is a festive and competitive costume contest with luxury prizes offered for best costumes in various categories overseen by celebrity judges. The Halloween Ball has consistently been called one of the 10 Best Events in New York. The 2009 theme Twilight will evoke an eerie and supernatural feeling that comes over the Park as the glow of the sun hides behind the city skyline. The Central Park Conservancys annual Halloween Ball is a major fund raising event for Central Park - raising over $900,000 to benefit the Conservancy and its mission to maintain and preserve Central Park.
