| Description | Dialogues in Visual Arts is a lively forum of emerging and mid-career artists working today. Hosted at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, each discussion is led by a panel of curators, artists, academics and other art world professionals with the aim of providing insight for artists, art enthusiasts and the curious alike. The inaugural panel of the season, The Nerve of Drawing: Three Artists from the Kentler Flatfiles,†features artists whose interpretation of drawing expands the definition of the genre. Selected from the gallerys database of artists, Mariana Hoferer, Richard Howe and Joanne Howard will present and discuss their work on November 11 at 7pm at BMCC Tribeca PAC. The panel will be moderated by Florence Neal, artist, Director and Co-Founder of the Kentler International Drawing Space in Red Hook, Brooklyn. A admission fee of $5 includes refreshments. |
