It's almost time to spring forward and reset our clocks for Daylight Saving Time. We know it's barely spring, but most of us are ready to get into our summertime routine. Well, lucky for us, we can revel in our favorite Atlantic City hotspot this summer, with the debut of HQ Beach Club. The beachfront day club and pool lounge, brought to us again by Angel Management Group and EMM Group, opens in May. We're all too familiar with the infamous pool-parties at Revel's HQ Nightclub, so it'll be interesting to see how we handle ourselves at this new day-to-night club. More»
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced plans for a state takeover of Atlantic City's perpetually endangered casinos yesterday. The hope is to restore some glam to the beleaguered seaside town, the kind seen in Martin Scorsese's upcoming Boardwalk Empire. But could the series itself be a good omen for AC? More»
We knew things were bad for Lindsay Lohan, but now she's been reduced to taking Snooki's sloppy seconds. Days after MTV announced the lovable Jersey Shore rascals were heading to South Beach for Season 2 of the hard-hitting vérité masterpiece, Lohan's plans for an Atlantic City appearance have emerged. We all know Mario Lopez for his role as the curly-haired mullet wearing jock A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell. The 90s television star has also been busy as host on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, and publicly cheating on not one, but two girlfriends (apparently he didn't learn proper dating etiquette at Bayside High). All hobbies aside, the multi-tasker found time to celebrate his 36th birthday with friends and new girlfriend Courtney Mazza in Atlantic City. The Birthday festivities took place Saturday night over dinner at Izakaya followed by a night of dancing with DJ Samantha Ronson at Club Mur.Mur inside A.C.'s Borgata Casino. More»

Kristin Cavallari took time off "The Hills" to venture east for a fun-filled weekend at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. After a full day of shopping, (at Just Cavalli and La Perla) what's a girl to do? Eat some meat from Bobby Flay and go see friend DJ Samantha Ronson spinning at mur.mur. Oh, and pose for photos with her minions of course. On Sunday, Kristin hopped in a stretch limo (I'm guessing-who doesn't roll up to AC in one?) to the airport. The Hills await. More photos below... What are the chances that we go to cover the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City on the very same weekend that there is a piece about the Hotel"s Fifth Floor nightspot in the Sunday Styles? I suppose great minds think alike. But I digress. We had a wonderful time at this new boutique non-gaming spot this weekend. There has been a lot of buzz surrounding this place, including the Fifth Floor where there is a bar and dance hall run by DJ Paul Sevigny (of Beatrice Inn fame) and a steakhouse named Chelsea Prime run by Stephen Starr (of Morimoto and Budakann fame).
It"s a bit of a gamble, no pun intended, but the Chelsea may just be what finally brings Manhattan hipsters down to the area and revitalizes an otherwise dodgy place.

Enter the Chelsea Hotel, ready to adopt this child and bring it its much needed nourishment of exclusivity.
