It what was no doubt meant as a respectful tribute to Audrey Hepburn on what would have been her 80th birthday, models in Australia dressed up as the fashion icon, mimicking her Breakfast at Tiffany's bouffant and glam sixties dresses. Unfortunately, the end result was less a touching tribute to the star's celebrated sense of fashion and more what looks to be an intimidating and humorless Audrey army. More»

The debut included a red carpet event, fashion show and an in-store workshop hostessed by supermodel Miranda Kerr. Themed "A great southern summer 2008," the new pieces brought a seasonal spark to the runway.

Celebrities, models and designers turned out in hoards for Vogue Australia's 50th Anniversary Party at Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia.  Guest of Honor Cate Blanchett, who will appear on the cover of Vogue's anniversary edition, looked dashing in a full-length burnt orange Ossie Clark dress.  The red carpet saw the likes of Miranda Otto, Pip Edwards, Vogue Editor Kirsty Clements, Nicole Trufino, Miranda Kerr, Abbey-Lee Kershaw, Heidi Middleton, Marnie Skillings, Sophie Lee, Deborah Hutton, Collette Dinnigan and Gillian Armstrong.

Last week Sacha Baron Cohen (as Bruno) stopped by to promote his newest movie, and today the brand new Louis Vuitton store opened its doors in Bondi. Flanked by LV employees and models, Australian actress Miranda Otto cut the brown ribbon, officially opening the luxury store. Aussie socialites, fashionistas, and television personalities, including Pip Edwards, Erin McNaught, and Kerri Anne Kennerly were also on hand. More»

And what's a Bruno premiere without wacky hijinks? Last night the MTV Australia Awards heated up the Syndney Convention center.  The main attraction of the night was the giant smooch that Ashley Simpson planted on hubby Pete Wentz, putting to rest any troubled-marriage rumors. Pete, who hosted the show and who's band Fall Out Boy won Best Rock Video went crowd surfing at one point. Other highlights included  Jess Mauboy ('06 Aussie Idol) sweeping away the crowd with her 'Burn' performance, and The Hills Audrina Patridge hosting the red carpet (of course she did!).

Red Nike Airs to match metallic red shirt? Check. Old school 80s puff pants? Check. Gold Mr-T-Style Neck Chain? Check. There's no denying that this chick should be up on The Cobrasnake, she no doubt chose her outfit based on that possibility solely. And why not? Mickey Avalon, the famed graffiti artist/pot dealer/orthodox Jew/poet is more than cause for celebration in Brisbane circles. The best thing is, she wasn't out of place at the party one bit.
