Dear Diary,

A DJ, no wait, Marla Maples saved my life last night.

It was one of those days in which everything was perfect – the weather was alarmingly kind. You know that temperature, it’s a perfect lukewarm that allows you to wear anything you want sans shawl… Strangely enough, I had been sporting brand new kitten heels since the morning and they hadn’t even begun to pinch. As I strolled up Madison Avenue, I searched for imperfections everywhere, ANYWHERE – I wanted to find something off. But the iconic street simply refused to cooperate. Of course it wouldn’t, Madison Avenue at night is divine – boutiques so craftily put together that as you pass them one by one, it feels as though you’re walking through the pages of Vogue. Only when I arrived at my destination did I realize what was off.

Indashio first made a splash on the scene with his ingenious line of doggie swimwear fashioned from recycled shoes. Yes, that’s right – recycled shoes! You may recognize him from MTV’s 8th & Ocean or VH1’s Glam God but if you ever have the pleasure to meet him in person, it’s the hungry pursuit of his vision and his delicious energy that will leave you craving for more.

Backstage, I enjoyed spending time with fellow “Paper Doll” and ANTM winner, Jaslene Gonzalez. This has been an incredible year for her – from winning the coveted title to gracing the covers of Latina Magazine and Seventeen, to name a few!

I love this photo taken of Devorah Rose last night at the opening party of The Country Club.  We were the first to break the news on the new venue and, judging from what I saw in the initial stages, it is going to provide us with a whole lot of fun.  The Bellini menu alone could keep me busy for months.  Stay tuned for our full write up of the event as well as a gallery of photos by Kashish Shrestha

[Devorah Rose at Paws For Style]

Paws for Style may seem like its all doggy-glitz and glam but it is much more than that. The core reason everyone came together on July 15th was to promote animal welfare and rescue efforts. Being a part of this event was not only an honor but a ton of fun! First of all, wearing FORM always makes me feel great. Jerry Tam, the founder of the fashion-forward label, is a true artist…and most recently, he can add reality star to his long list of accomplishments. So make sure you catch him on Project Runway!!
