Meanwhile, guests embraced the weekend's warm weather in some great springtime looks at Team Fox's Sunday Funday event yesterday. Compared to many celebrity events, dressing for the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner and parties are challenging because one must be trendy and conservative at the same time. Karen Klopp of What2WearWhere.com pulled looks from Saks for the cocktail parties, brunches, dinner and after-parties that will take over our social calendars for the next few days:

Some incredibly well-dressed guests in NYC made it difficult to narrow all of Monday night's amazing looks down to just 10. Meanwhile, it seemed like the entire fashion set - from Coco Rocha to Zanna Roberts Rassi - was out to impress at the Dom Pérignon & James Houston dinner for Natural Beauty. We may be slowly moving out of coat season, but since we all know that the spring months can be the most unpredictable of all, you may not want to pack away the outerwear just yet. That said, we can all give thanks to our favorite fashion insider, Jenna Lyons, for sparking a new trend in wearing jackets and coats through spring. We're talking about the widespread "over the shoulder" look that Jenna single-handedly pioneered. From Solange Knowles to Kate Lanphear, we've seen some of our favorite style trendsetters opting to go arms out, subtly draping their favorite outerwear over their shoulders instead. Take a cue from Jenna Lyons and the rest of the fashion elite and start wearing the cape look today.
