[All photos by for PMc]. It may no longer be summer, but that doesn’t mean The Maidstone has stopped being a destination spot. Last Saturday, Alec Baldwin, Rachel Dratch, Steve Buscemi, and Josh Lucas all stopped by to attend a reception for the Hamptons International Film Festival. The hotel serves as headquarters for the film festival, which just announced the festival winners. More»

[All photos by Jonathon Ziegler for PMc]. Looks like Sharon Stone gave Emmy Rossum quite a talking to when the they met up at the 2009 Breakthrough Performers Brunch at Nick and Toni’s in East Hampton this past Saturday. So what words of wisdom did Sharon impart to the ingenue? Lucky for you, we have the conversation! More»

Today is the first day of October, can you believe it? I can’t. Thankfully, Ben Watts just uploaded some new “end of summer” photos for us to browse through to relive the final days of sunshine and warm weather. Before you get too sad by summer’s official end, take time to remember that with fall comes new opportunities, and new faces to meet. More photos below… More»

If you haven’t left yet for wherever it is you are spending Labor Day Weekend, we suggest you do so in the next hour.  The LIE (Long Island Expressway) is sure to be jammed all afternoon and well into the evening as city dwellers flock out east.  You could end up spending hours in a car (which, with the right people could be more fun than you think), or you could hop on a Helicopter and be at your destination (for us, Hamptons) in less time than it takes to watch an episode of Mad Men.  Team GofG had a chance to experience first hand, the benefits of being rich being able to fly across the NY skies last Friday, thanks to Ventura Air and Nik Tarascio (CEO of Air East). [Ben Watts] via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: There’s something about summering that goes hand in hand with either a youthful fling or passionate romance. We’ve been bugging (and plying with alcohol) the girls to tell us about the boy toys they’ve wrangled over the past few months. Are you as curious as we are to see who got lucky? More>>

via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: What’s the difference between Hamptons Polo Tournaments and the Hamptons Classic Horse Show? Not much. At least from my perspective…Rob Rich’s photos.  There’s the bright colors, the tanned hides, and the oversized hats. The tents were alive this last weekend, and guests like Kelly Ripa, Mayor Bloomberg, and Bruce Springsteen joined the fun. MORE>>>>

Okay. So. Some people like chocolate icecream, some vanilla. Some enjoy steak, while others like fish. And some Hamptonites like to spend their weekend nights relaxing with friends outside their grills, while others like to pretend they have grills of their own…and that their grills are good enough to make T.I.’s music video. Before any judgement takes place on the douchebaggery of the gentlemen in the video above (sent into us by someone that chose to spend their Saturday at Dune, Southampton), let us really take into account the commitment to excellence he is putting into his moves.  He brought out the steering wheel within the first minute for christ’s sake! The Watermill Center hosted the “Last Song of Summer” on Saturday evening, a benefit concert featuring Rufus Wainwright and Norah Jones. Jay McInerney, Mary Louise Parker, Angelica Houston, Isabella Rossellini, Dalia Oberlander and many more caught the on-stage spectacle while enjoying the indoor escape from the rain. More»

It’s palpable. We’re already swimming in nostalgia for the seemingly all-too-short season, as are Rufus Wainwright and Norah Jones. The two musicians bid adieu to another one out east at the “Last Song of Summer” Watermill Concert, delighting guests at the Ross School to close out the long, sometimes sunny days with a tune and a kiss. Don’t forget to help us save summer ‘09 and send Rachelle your favorite summer memories!  More»

via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: Look how fabulous Christie Brinkley was looking last weekend at the Ross School’s Annual Celebrity Tennis Event in East Hampton. She was in good company as tennis stars like Andre Agassi, Petr Korda, Rennae Stubbs and coach Nick Bollettieri were all present, along with Alec Baldwin, Ramona Singer, Rufus Wainwright, Kelly Bensimon, Aubrey O’day, and LuAnn de Lesseps.
