The stars of the highly anticipated indie flick American Violet reunited on the red carpet Monday night for the premiere held at the Pacific Design Center’s Silver Screen Theater in Los Angeles. The film’s star, Nicole Beharie headed over to the West Coast from New York City where she refined her talents at Julliard before making only her second appearance on the big screen where she has been wowing critics with her American Violet performance. Cinephiles and art lovers came together at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills on Saturday, April 11th, to celebrate the opening of “Rear Projection“, an exhibition of new photographs and sculptures by John Waters. In attendance were former leading ladies Ricki Lake and Tracy Lords (of Hairspray and Cry-Baby, respectively), Paul Reubens, and Johnny Knoxville.

Last night, Bryan Rabin (Hollywood Promoter behind the “Club Cherry” party) came back, with some help from friends Kelly Cole and Ian Cripps. The new party, “Diamond Dogs” is an obvious shout out to David Bowie and Rabin had an invite list a mile long of fabulous types attending,
