Lydia Hearst[Lydia on the cover of Driven Magazine this month] As Lydia Hearst turns over for budding actor/singer Miles Fisher.  Fisher just released an entertaining video for his new cover of This Must Be The Place, by the Talking Heads.   This song of course was an integral part of the Wall Street soundtrack .  Fisher draws upon this classic tune, to create a homage to American Psycho and his apparent penchant for the 80’s. Loyal readers will perhaps notice heiress and socialite Lydia Hearst engaging in a steamy ménage a trois with Mr. Fisher and Charlotte Kidd.  Fisher does a solid job of touching upon most of the memorable scenes in American Psycho….. Lydia HearstAll of those haters out there that claim Lydia Hearst is far from an international model can suck it.  Today, Fashionista reports that Lydia will be given an ENTIRE MAGAZINE over in France.  She is already the face of Myla and Pringle of Scotland (she also has the exclusive to walk for them in Milan), and has modeled for French Playboy’s cover as well as a couple European Vogues.  But, with the new launch of the French magazine Femmes in March, Lydia is the ONLY model used in the forty pages!  There is also a six-page article on her and her family.

On Thanksgiving Eve, we had so much fun toasting some of the people that we are most thankful for at Lydia Hearst’s bowling party at Lucky Strike Lanes and the after party at The Eldridge.  The event, which was also hosted by Scott Buccheit, Cayte Grieve and Kristian Laliberte, and Matt Levine raised money for God’s Love we Deliver and was a smashing success.  Magically, one of the first guests we ran into was our favorite Steve Lewis.  Next came Scott and Naeem of course and their table which included Hearst sisters Lydia and Gillian, as well as Gillian’s husband Christian Simonds (who’s birthday we all toasted to).  Other guests included:

We began our night at the Cirque de Soleil’s show Wintuk. We’ve seen a lot of their shows, including ones in Vegas, so you don’t expect a lot of coherence, just entertainment.  This one had something to do with a boy trying to find snow for his village and featured freaky singing lamp-posts.  We realized something though.  We actually enjoy the shows much more when the cast is half naked.  Seeing as this was winter themed, we didn’t get to see much flesh.  Funniest thing we saw all night?  As we were entering MSG a bunch of the performers standing outside smoking cigarettes.  Well, they are French right?  Well at least French Canadian.

I love a girl that knows how to not take herself too seriously.  If you can’t beat them, join them…which is exactly what Lydia Hearst did.  The super model dressed up as a tabloid from Page Six magazine for the first half of the night. Part one of her huge Masquerade night started with an intimate pre-party at the Alex and Ani showroom in Tribeca.  We were treated with loads of jewelry from Carolyn Rafaelian (of Alex and Ani), who was the most gracious host you could ever ask for (she even helped me get into my fabulous, Keith Lissner couture dress).  They also had several MAC makeup artists on hand to do our makeup.

Lydia Hearst And Scott Buccheit

Scott Buccheit, a close confident of Lydia’s and a writer for GofG,responds to The NY Post’s Headline:

“I think its a bit disingenuous of page 6 to write what they did today about Lydia Hearst today. They claim that she never wrote her columns and that they had an editor do all the writing for her. Initially they denied that anybody was writing the column except Lydia. Now that she has terminated her relationship with her they are saying she did not write her column at all?

UPDATE: Go HERE for Scott Buccheit’s response.

On today’s cover of the New York Post, we were immediately drawn to the headline:Lyin’ Lydia Won’t Come Clean. This was their response to this email that Lydia Hearst wrote to them, resigning her position as guest freelance writer for Page Six Magazine, which we posted exclusively yesterday.  We weren’t entirely shocked to see this dramatic headline; this is, after all, The Post, but we were curious to get to the truth.  It appears that, not only did The Post print a quote that was blatantly and severely edited, they are claiming that Lydia didn’t even WRITE her posts for them.  According to the Post:

“She was interviewed by a reporter, who put her thoughts into cohesive paragraphs.”

Making her look both illegitimate and dumb.

Lydia’s Response to the Drama via her *real Facebook Account:

“With a world fixated on society and scandal on the West Coast, why not turn the tables and focus on this metropolis we call New York. I wasn’t born here. Yet every day I’m faced with the dreaded stereotype of the New York society socialite.

Lydia Hearst is not happy.  Understandably.  Page Six Magazine, the publication SHE writes for in “The Hearst Chronicles” posted an article in its October 24th issue that was complete BS according to the heiress/supermodel.  She subsequently quit.  Team Lydia!  Her email to the Post follows:

“As a result of the article titled “Blood Dispute” in the October 24th issue of Page Six, I am compelled to resign from my position as Freelance Journalist for Page Six Magazine.

Last week was a wild one including co-chairing Grassroot Soccer and hosting Sparrow’s birthday party. So we were both a little exhausted as we got on an early morning flight on Sunday for LA on Jetblue. (special thanks to Jerry Morris for the passes!) We arrived around noon in Burbank, so much closer to Hollywood than LAX (who knew)? We headed straight to our favorite place on the planet, In-n-Out Burger, and ate until we were full. We checked into our room at the Roosevelt, and hit the sack. We were invited to Miley’s birthday at Disney World but literally could not move and spent the night in bed.
