[Whitney Port and Kelly Cutrone working the Mara Hoffman show. Photos via Getty] Being a reality TV star is hard work. You have to, you know, actually pretend to be working. Whitney Port manned the operations booth with her “boss” Kelly Cultrone (of People’s Revolution) at the Mara Hoffman 2010 swim show at the Mercedes-Benz event in Miami. The people they were trying to impress? The Real Housewives of NJ of course…. More»

Kelly Bensimon[Kelly Bensimon. Photos by Getty] Apparently, it’s not enough for Kelly Bensimon to be seen at every party in New York (No, really. Every. Party.); this week she sashayed down to Miami to be seen at every Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week event as well. Maybe it’s the cameras, maybe it’s the swag, but homegirl LOVES a good event. Bensimon attended the Extra Life Lycra and the L*Space by Monica swim shows. She was joined at both events by fellow reality tv “personality” Whitney Port, who attended with “actress” Roxy Olin More»

Whitney Port[Photos via Getty] MTV’s The City followed it’s main star, Whitney Port, to the beaches of Miami.  Whitney couldn’t stand to be the only NYC Reality TV star missing out on the action of the Mercedes-Benz Swimwear Fashion Show (Kelly Bensimon and Olivia Palermo were already down there all last week).  It was a great excuse for her to go jet skiing and show off her bikini bod. Kelly Bensimon
["Maybe if we ignore her long enough she will disappear."]

Kelly Bensimon’s not going anywhere. She may not have been one of the models baring her midriff for the cameras, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t take the chance to make each and every moment spent in Miami at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim a photo op.  Olivia Palermo joined in on the fun, and the girls of Miami were more than excited to have these two reality queens in town.  More photos from the week below… More»

[Photos by JOE SCHILDHORN for PMc] Revelers gathered in Miami Beach last night for the long-awaited opening of The Webster, a 20,000 square foot retail space housing over 30 labels, including Acne, Prada, Proenza Schouler, and Stella McCartney. The party honored British jewelry designer Solange Azagury-Partridge, whose eponymous label will have a home in the shopping mecca. The fashionable guests included Barbara Becker, Michelle Pooch, Rick Leventhal, and Iran Issa-Khan. More»

Saturday marked the end of the Winter Music Conference down in Miami with a huge concert “Ultra” where techno fans alike had to dress in neon and finish what they started: a fest of 250 DJ’s on 8 stages in two days ala Woodstock.  We have to wait until summer until this conference comes to NYC…with holded breath of course.

UPDATE: Even with the twins in South Beach, the brunch party at Merkato 55 in NYC was still packed out the door on Saturda.y [Grub] We told you all about the Day & Night party that the Koch Brothers were moving south with to Miami for the Winter Music Conference this weekend.  You think that we were just going to leave you hanging with the flyer? No way.  Steven was down there in on the action at Baoli’s VITA, along with DJ Messkid and DJ Nick Cohen who helped show South Beach how we do brunch Manhattan style. A mix of locals, Euros, S Americans, and of course, Merkato regulars, came together to enjoy an afternoon of music mixing, tropical drinks served in aquarium sized containers, and 83 degree weather.

The Winter Music Conference in Miami has been going on all week, and, for the grand finale, the Dual Groupe’s “Day & Night” brunch will be taking over Miami’s VITA.  Derek and Daniel Koch have taken some of our favorite NYC Dj’s with them including DJ Serebe Kironde, DJ Mess Kid and DJ Nick Cohen to show the folks in Miami how Saturday Brunches are done.

“The rosé is on ice and the champagne will be flowing all afternoon to your favorite house music.” Is this the first in Day & Night’s plan to scale their popular party brunches that have taken over the likes of Merkato 55?
