Ok, ok, they’re not going to Shake Shack, but rather getting ready for New York’s Annual Veterans Day Parade. The parade starts at 11:00 am at 23rd and 5th (right where the Marines above are assembled), and up to 57th and 5th. Mayor Bloomberg will march along with the parade until he gets to the Public Library, where he will sit in the Reviewing Stand. Happy Veterans Day! [via].
There are two things Cornell is known for: its hotel school and its alarmingly high suicide rate. So it’s no surprise that in the wake of Friday’s flagrant email scandal, the Johnson School administration is reaching out to shaken students who might otherwise take a long walk along Ithaca’s many gorges. See below for the email itself and join us in hoping the dust upstate has settled for all involved parties… More»
Once And Future Anniversaries: The Martignetti Brothers Celebrate Brinkley’s, Southside, Nuptials
What an exciting time to be a Martignetti brother! First their new restaurant, Brinkley’s (in the old Bar Martignetti space) opened its doors. Then, the twosome and hundreds of their closest friends broke an untold number of fire ordinances at Southside’s wall-to-wall packed 1st anniversary party. And tomorrow, Tom Martignetti is set to marry Bailey something in Newburyport, MA. Congrats to the happy couple and good thinking on the timing- it’s a lot harder to forget three approaching anniversaries than one. More»
UPDATE: Cornell Administration Reacts to Scandal. [Post]
Everyone has had at least one bad email incident that they have had to learn from. Some involve, say, sending an invitation and forgetting to bcc everyone. Or worse, sending an email complaining about your boss to, er, your boss, named Sarah (instead of your best friend Sarah). But, NO ONE, and we mean NO ONE has had a worse email gaffe than John X did about an hour ago. The Cornell Business School Tech Consultant managed to pass on his entire long and very steamy exchange with his mistress, Lisa (another Cornell Business Employee), TO THE ENTIRE JOHNSON SCHOOL. Both are married. Click below for the entire email exchange, including photos of the two. It seems like a joke, but we assure you, this is real life, folks, and it’s not pretty. More»
James Gandolfini Still Channeling Tony Soprano, Assaults GofG Photographer In West Village On Halloween!

It has to be hard being followed all of the time, and I would imagine it becomes only a matter of time before one would snap. Unfortunately, for a Guest of a Guest photographer, the moment Sopranos star James Gandolfini snapped happened to be on his watch. On Halloween, in the West Village, Gandolfini assaulted our camera man. Watch video above. And click below for the full story from our photographer: More»
EXCLUSIVE: Paul Johnson-Calderon Can’t Catch A Break With Security Cameras; Gets Caught Vandalizing Cleo Vauban’s Union Square Apartment Building!
[Paul Johnson-Calderon and Jules Kirby, during happier times]. Uh-oh. Looks like Paul Johnson-Calderon (PJC) has had a problem with security cameras, again. Only eight short months after the bow tie wearing social gay was caught stealing a handbag on film at the Eldridge, there’s another run-in with surveillance cameras, but this time it’s not for being a klepto. Last week the boy-social was caught on cam for breaking-and-entering with a touch of vandalism!
