Fashion Week, for those of us who are not so into "fashion," is essentially a week of killer parties, booze, and model spotting. So here's the list that you actually care about: the best places to party your pants off this NYFW.

While Nas was entertaining Eli Manning and the rest of the G-Men at 1Oak last night (left), Chris Rock was the only one sans tux with Jay-Z at the after party for the singer's 2nd epic night at Carnegie Hall.  Stanley of course managed to catch both parties, and more on his snazzy new Instagram account. Where can you find all of nightlife's dirty little secrets? Why, the twitter handle @NYNightlife of course. With over 10,000 tweets and 12,800 followers, the anonymous tweeter has become the "go-to" source for all things nightlife, from club openings to bar fights and everything in between. The account has been getting a lot of hype lately, as nightlife reporters, club owners, promoters and partiers alike check the feed religiously. The tweeter even has 'copy cats' with accounts like @NYUNightlife.

Andre Saraiva's latest incarnation of Le Baron lit up last night in the first edition of its inaugural concert series "Encore!" with self described proto-pop scenesters HeartsRevolution.

It's 10:00pm and we receive a text from a colleague that it wouldn't be unwise to get there soon: "We're at the table with the girls from Absolut vodka...hurry up"

We poured ourselves down the N train to the undiscovered part of Mulberry Street, dog leg left and we find ourselves bathed in familiar faces. Andre's storied Fort Knox door team was in fact staffed with our old friends from Kenmare, hugs all around as we dove in.

Smoke machines everywhere. Also: leather. Le Baron lends itself to the feeling that this isn't far off from a turn-of-the century Parisian opium den, partly because you couldn't be sure people weren't smoking opium, partly because we overheard an insightful party-goer, "...yeah I'm pretty sure Andre was going for like an opium den feel..." He takes time to chat with each person individually and is all smiles as he takes pictures with some of his fans. At the age of 22 Tim Bergling, known by his stage name Avicii, is already one of world’s top DJ talents. After making a big splash with his hit track “Seek Bromance” in 2010, Avicii took over the EDM scene in 2011. His track “Levels”, a sample of the late Etta James, was unquestionably one of the most popular songs of the last year. Beno Lavaud is a former L'Oreal manager turned DJ who throws exclusive parties every month in Tokyo with his co-founder Cedric Alberge.
