Add another item to the list of unfortunate things that have happened to the popular nightclub The Box. If the drug raids and sheer boredom with the place hasn't yet managed to get most of the A-list crowd to stray away and wander over to Rose Bar, Socialista or Beatrice Inn yet, this may just be the thing that does it. As the Post reports today, The Box has a stalker. A serial rapist has already kidnapped and attacked at least two victims, forcing them into an SUV and making them drink unknown liquids, after grabbing them from behind as they exited the hip nightclub on Chrystie street. He then drove both women (on separate attacks) over the Brooklyn bridge where he raped them and then made them withdraw all their cash before sending them back to Manhattan. This uncaught sicko could manage to keep crowds away from the place...however, he could also be just the scary thrill that many seek to find on Halloween night. Please travel in groups people. Yes it makes your changes of getting in slim to none, but the alternative is way worse than missing the midget trannies onstage, trust us.
Sources close to the management indicate that Pink Elephant in the Hamptons makes quite a bundle of cash in the 12 short weeks it runs a year.

Revenue
Friday Night = $45,000
Saturday Night = $90,000
Weeks = 12
Total Revenue = 12 x ($45,000 + $90,000) = $1,620,000*
That is a pretty hefty take. Its unclear exactly what profits are, but most entertainment accountants would estimate their costs (alcohol, promotion, salaries, rent) to be roughly $600,000-750,000, making the profit well north of $500,000.
These numbers must make David Cabo and Shawn Kolodny pretty happy. We can only guess how much Dune is losing this summer...
*Not including Memorial Day and Labor Day Sunday

Mark Birbaum was born on June 10th, 1977. So was his best friend and business partner, Eugene Remm. Because of the similarity in bdays, these two decided it would be cool to start a club together, hence TenJune was born. Nowandays, Mr. Birbaum can be seen prancing around the "scene" with his posse of wanna-bees models, and sometimes the occasional celebritard such as Lalohan or Kayne. He is helping to make Pink Elephant in southampton THE hot place to be this summer (as well as "the estate" house that he owns with Remm). He is in constant competition with the "other players" aka Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss of Marquee and Dune. Well there's not much else to say about the guy, as he really has added nothing else to humanity save tables stocked with over priced "models" and bottles, and those drummer guys of course....however, we've got to hand it to him, the guy knows what to do to get the ladies around him, because let's face it, making silly faces with a club owner is soooo "sick", as these kids today would say....

Serbians definitely know how to throw a kickin' party. In fact so much so that partying must be one of the countries best exports. Today marks the beginning of the four day EXIT Festival, the annual summer music festival in the Petrovaradin fortress in Serbia. Started in 2000 by two University students, it has grown to become an amazing event with top flight performers, which this year include Snoop Dogg, Beastie Boys, Basement Jaxx, Roger Sanchez, John Digweed, Groove Armada, and Lauren Hill to name a few.

Mr. Big has apparently gotten too BIG....of a head that is. Wtf is this guy doing? Watching him snort coke with 20 year old girls at Bungalow is one thing but dying his hair blond to host a party at Pink Elephant? This picture is from Saturday night with Unik. Someone needs to have a serious intervention with this guy and tell him to GROW UP!!!!!
A video from inside Pink Elephant this Saturday in Southampton. Even though Bob Sinclair's "World Hold On" was last year's summer club anthem, its still brings a smile to our face when it comes on, and won't disappear until something new comes and replaces it. Speaking of which, it will be interesting to see what becomes "the song" this summer.
Looks like Olivia Palermo will be hoping on a Hampton Jitney for a ride out to East Hampton on the 23rd of June to "host" a launch party for Izzy Gold's summer line of clothes at the Blue & CreamLola.

Olivia and boyfriend Brad Leinhardt for the cover of Japanese Elle. Other guests will include among others Francesca Wilson. The Blue and CreamLola will also be hosting a few other events this weekend, including a photography showcase for Jamie Newman on Saturday from 4-7pm, and a crunk trunk showcase for Madison Harding from 12-4pm on Sunday the 24th:

While we were trying our best to act like kids again this weekend, there were many who were getting very, very naughty.
Skyy vodka helped host The Playboy party for Amanda Beard this Saturday at Stereo by the Shore in Southampton

Above is the Guest of honor with her annoyingly gay sidekick Sasha Brown and equally annoying friend Lizzie Grubman who hopefully arrived by chauffer...

Star Jones made her own apperance, being led in by her pretend husband Al Reynolds.
And, if you thought the Hamptons couldn't get any cheesier this weekend, take a look at what was going on across the island at both Star Lounge and Pink Elephant that very same night:
Yikes.

Who better to put on the cover of Social Life Magazine, than Tinsley Mortimer, the Queen Bee of New York Socialites? Here she is basking in the glory of being a covergirl at the Stereo House in Southampton. We must say she does look a lot different in person than on the cover. Such are the wonders of good lighting and Photoshop.

Andreas Santo Domingo (far right), Fiance of NYC uber-socialite Lauren Davis, makes a stop at Pink Elephant (Southampton). Some other lovely model-esque guests below:

And last but not least, the highlight of the night, Miss Universe Riyo Mori.

Well it isn't exactly by the shore, rather situated off of the heavily-trafficed Montauk Highway (route 27), approximately 2 miles from the nearest beach...but we'll forgive the loose interpretation, and chaulk it up to Mike Satsky and Brian Gefner's want of assonance in the name.
In any event Social Life Magazine's party at Stereo By the Shore this weekend was definitely kickin' with a surprise performance from yours truly Lily Allen.

Line to get inside Pink Elephant, Southampton, Saturday night:
And the winlner for this weekend's best night spot in the Hamptons goes to Pink Elephant. Even without the redesign new fish hanging from the celing (the work of designer Steve Lewis), without the celebrity girlfriends hanging off of the owner's arms (Heather Graham has been dating Charles Ferri the co-owner of Star Room since last summer), and without the famous gatekeepers like Rich Thomas at the door, Pink manages to win our vote for best spot and here's why:
The crowd was the hottest, the music made us want to boogie, and the infamous "scent machine" was in full effect:
Mark Birnbaum, Richie Akiva (owner of Butter), Eugene Remm (owner of TenJune along with Mark).
