Anyone that knows me is well aware of my DANNIJO obsession. (At left I’m wearing the Sparo bracelet, the Bahlia necklace, and a version of my all-time favorite piece of jewelry ever, the Rejas necklace). The jewelry line quickly won its way in my heart… and not just because I’m good friends with the two spunky sisters that founded the company. DANNIJO is one of the unique lines that gets the juxtaposition of flirty romantic and funky rock and roll bohemian - a testament to the girls’ own distinct personal styles - right. Which is why I was so excited to see Jodie and Danielle Snyder (a pair we recently interviewed) up on the Today Show this morning. Watch the segment below… More»

I have been in love with The Sartorialist since before I can remember. I will never forget the day I met Scott Schuman in real life. He stopped me outside of my office (the GM Building).  It was December 8th, 2006. And I was pretty flattered. I look so…little.  Anyway, Scott Schuman is now a well known name around the world. Last night, Barney’s hosted a book signing for his first book of all of his photographs “The Sartorialist.” On sale now. More photos and story below… More»

If Marc Jacobs is the A-list show of the season, than it looks like we might have to dubb Jill Stuart the B-list celebrity sh-itshow equivalent. With just about every Bravo show represented front row at this morning’s 12pm show at the New York public library, the turn-out had the paprazzi’s head spinning at who to snap first. The Real Housewives of New York had a solid showing with Jill Zarin, LuAnn de Lesseps, and Kelly Bensimon, but as an added treat both the Real Housewives of New Jersey and Atlanta were represented

Ramona Singer: Reality Star. Ramona Singer: Jewelry Designer? If this seems like a far reach to you, remember her fashion background that she’s stressed on the Real Housewives of New York, her attendance at fashion shows, her turn into the skincare market (apparently, you aren’t an avid Bravo fan like I am if you don’t). Now the firey Real Housewive, who is currently taping the next season of the popular show, talks to us about her affordable line of estate-inspired jewelry, priced from $200-$500, that will debut tonight, Monday, September 14th, 10pm, EST (as well as September 15th 11pm Pacific). And while we were excited to get the insider scoop More»

via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: Michael Jackson was a source of inspiration for thousands of musicians and DJ’s in the business. Recently, one of our favorite DJ’s, DJ Cassidy, launched a new shoe: the Bridgeport boat shoe for Rockport, drawing on inspiration from his two biggest influences, Run DMC and Michael Jackson.

Cassidy considers the greatest outfit of all time to be Michael Jackson’s look in the “Billie Jean” video: Black leather suit, red bow tie, pink shirt, pink socks… Not exactly an obvious translation into a pair of boat shoes, but it works. With soft pink perforated leather, red canvas upper, and black pinstripe, the shoe is signature Cassidy with a twist. Good luck getting your hands on these shoes, which made their debut at Blue and Cream, East Hampton this past weekend, there’s only FIFTY pairs! MORE>>>

Last night, Charlotte Ronson launched her “I Heart Ronson” for JC Penny line at Chelsea’s Pier 60. Although Adrien Field wasn’t able to get coverage of this event, the likes of Mischa Barton, HIlary Duff, Olivia Thirlby, Sean Lennon to Jules Kirby and Ali Wise were all able to by pass the scrutiny of Seventh House PR. Also present were those with family ties AKA Djs Samantha and Mark Ronson and Annabelle Dexter-Jones[All photos by NEIL RASMUS for PMc]

Every August, thousands of people can’t wait to get their hands on the September issue of Vogue. This issue impacts the $300-billion global fashion industry more than any other single publication, and one film hopes to document the making of the September Issue from the inside out. Following editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her team of editors as they work to create the “must-have Bible of fashion,’ the documentary takes it’s viewers behind the scenes at Fashion Week, Europe, and shoots as well as closed-door staff meetings. It’s first official screening, outside of Sundance, was last night at the MoMA. More»

[Alessandra Ambrosio, Lindsay Ellingson, Marisa Miller and Emanuela de Paula, Photos Getty] When Victoria’s Secret introduced their “Body by Victoria” line ten years ago women across the world rejoiced. Gone were the days of the, uh, Madonna-look, and in are the days of the “every body” look. To celebrate, the models threw a party at Herald Square, to announce the return of the popular Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this fall. More»

[Kimora Lee Simmons helps Mayor Michael Bloomberg shop for ties at JC Penny. Photos via Getty]

Yesterday, the first ever JC Penney store opened it’s doors in Manhattan’s Herald Square, and Kimora Lee Simmons was there to help our Mayor, Michael Bloomberg stock up on some purchases.  The mayor wears ties from JC PENNY? How recessionista-fab of him! The store is the subject of “a major, multimedia marketing campaign, a rarity for Penney.” “A special case gets a special level of attention. More»
