We laugh, we sang, and we danced our way through the festivities uptown last night. After stopping by the Victor Demarchelier/Alexandra Richards party at Mina Gallery in Astor Place, we headed WAY uptown to join the UES’drs at the Frick Collection Young Fellows Ball. Afterward, everyone headed to the St. Regis Hotel’s Aston Court for the La Perla-Clandestine Interlude where this gentleman tickled the old ivories for everyone’s amusement. Guests at St. Regis included…

Page Six recently put together their picks for the top 50 Hottest New York City Bachelors, and while we agreed with some of their choices, there were those who were in fact, not bachelors, and others who left us scratching our heads (also there wasn’t a single gay man on the list!) We thought of a few they left out who would make excellent dates this Valentine’s Day and who belong on the list of Top Hottest Bachelors In New York City.
Paul Johnson-Calderon
This social scenester aka “The King of Bow Ties” gets our list started for his classic style that has yet to falter and because who wouldn’t want to replace Jules Kirby as this fashion stud’s arm candy?
For our next bachelor, only the youthful dames need apply. Our favorite king of the nightlife and master of charm, Steve Lewis, likes them young because in case you didn’t know, “you can buy them a gift for 300 bucks, and they think you’re P. Diddy”.
See our other picks for New York’s Hottest Bachelor’s below…-
Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby! Socials left and right are expecting, and New Yorker’s are looking forward to every minute with the new additions to some of Manhattan’s power couples-about-town. So, want to see where the newest socialites will be sprouting from?
Minnie Mortimer and director/writer husband Stephen Gaghan are expecting their first child together on February 4th. The two social powerhouses have been together for almost two years after their fairytale wedding in May 2007. The addition to the Mortimer clan combined with Gaghan’s Hollywood grandeur is nothing short of exciting. Designer and director genes? This promises to be some very artistic offspring.

On Monday night the Waldorf Astoria held another deb ball. Routine, sure…after all this is the 24th anniversary of the International Debutante Ball there. But this year in particular a very special media mogulette’s daughter was unveiled. Christina Huffington, daughter of HuffPo’s Arianna Huffington has finally made her grand debut.

Our friends over at Fame Game have revealed their top searches of the year and we got the exclusive details below:

Post and Photos by C. Brady
This past weekend was the single greatest weekend of my year: the Far Hills Races (or the Hunt), where every sort of excessive and foolish behavior is accepted, nay encouraged; it is better than Christmas and my birthday rolled into one. If you don’t believe me, read this Sunday Star Ledger headline. Picture a quaint NJ town of 500 swarmed by ten’s of thousands of people in search of booze-fueled entertainment. Now picture all day drinking, horses running around (they are the excuse for this event, however not the point), random people hooking up, hopefully a lot of mud, good friends, copious amounts of alcohol, etc. That doesn’t do it justice, you really have to experience first hand, but rest assured it is excellent.

Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler have just tied the knot! The power couple (Simon the creative director of Barney’s and author, and Jonathan the uber popular interior designer) have been together for 14 years! They signed their marriage documents at City Hall in San Francisco yesterday, with a more formal Jewish ceremony in the afternoon at a hotel. The bachelor party was at Zuni Cafe, breakfast at Boulette’s Larder in the Ferry Plaza, and dinner at Chez Panisse. The couple plans on going to Big Sur for their honeymoon.

[Hurray for Bill Cunningham! Photos by CLINT SPAULDING for PMc]
“New Yorkers have their own distinct take on fashion, and no one chronicles that style better than Bill Cunningham,”-Jim Gold, president and CEO, Bergdorf Goodman [Marketwatch]
Last night, Bergdorf’s, the place where only the most fashionable shop, opened it’s doors to help celebrate Bill Cunningham, the man who’s been capturing said fashion for his long running and extremely popular New York Times columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours”. Both columns appear weekly in the Sunday Styles secion of the newspaper and online at NYTimes.com. There could have not been a better setting to showcase his work either, as he has been known to hang around the area capturing the city’s zeitgeist for quite sometime, likely with his bicycle in tow.
All of his subjects were there to shout HURRAY! HURRAY!! for Bill Cunningham and his ability to make us look beautiful!!

- Rufus Wainwright: “The Greatest Songwriter of our time” looked more like the greatest dresser of our time at his own “Last Song Of The Summer Concert” at Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center.
- Olivia Sterns and Jason Alexander: At same concert. With their bright summer colors, these two look like yummy eye candy.
- Stacy Engman: I love her style. Not only does she have the requite summer concert headband, but she added the one glove to complete the look.
- Hugh Grant: At Evian’s “A taste of polo” in Watermill. If you thought Polo was over, think again. The real fun looks like it’s just beginning…if I knew William Thacker from Notting Hill was going to really go all English on us this weekend I may have actually showed up on the fields for a Saturday.
