They met in a bar, and Damon insists he literally saw her across the bar where she was working when they first met in 2003. Apparently, "something incredible happened the first time [he] saw her." Maybe it's love at first sight, Mr. Damon. They've been married for over ten years now, so I'm pretty certain that's the case.
