Table, Donkey and Stick

Self described as, ‘crusty bread, brandy, and fire’. If those aren’t three of the finest words in the English language, we’re not really sure what are. The name, an obscure literary reference from a Brother’s Grimm tale, is filled with quirky interiors such as animal skulls and fearful axes. Yet it all seems to come together as you fill your glass from the carafe of tap wine and warm up by the fire pit. Although we’re not a fan of the missing oxford comma, we are a fan of Chef Scott Manley, who has replicated the cozy feel of an Alps Inn with wholesome menu offerings like the “Wanderteller”, a plate of cured meats which includes Goat Loin Tartare and Pheasant Galantine.
