Welcome to The Weeknd. You've probably heard some buzz over the past year on just who this mysterious Canadian duo was, only to realize The Weeknd was in fact singular- 21-year-old Toronto native Abel Tesfaye, to be exact.
Tesfaye's career is blowing up, yet the man behind The Weeknd stays intriguingly elusive, thus making it all the more promising. His genre-bending sound, a scattered mix of indie, dub-step, R&B, and trip-hop can only be described as druggie soul, and I say this in the most complimentary of ways.
