Young and fashionable patrons of the arts attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Apollo Circle Benefit Dance, sponsored by Carolina Herrera. Guests included Amanda Hearst (in stand-out Carolina Herrera), Lauren Santo Domingo, Meredith Melling Burke, Topper Mortimer, Lauren Remington Platt, Hayley Bloomingdale, Carol Han, Cristina Civetta (in a surrealist cat mask?), DJ Paul Sevigny, and Rachelle Hruska (in Keith Lissner, with Keith Lissner). The theme of the evening was "Surreal", in honor of the Met's collection of works by De Chirico, Magritte, and Ernst. Partying in the 2,000 year old Temple Of Dendur certainly added to the surrealist element of the evening, as did the dresses of varying colors, materials and patterns worn by the female attendees (nary an LBD in sight!)
