Robbyne KaamilComedian, Actress, and New Yorker Robbyne Kaamil is not afraid to sit you down and tell you how it REALLY is. She stars in her own one woman show Raw & Real which explores the worlds of politics, racism, relationships, and sex with her “raunchy, over the top, in-your-face demeanor” like no one else.
We decided to ask a diverse group of young movers and shakers across the city where they like to hang out. Places that are under the radar, "best kept secrets" if you will. See what they have to say

We already know that New York is awash with film festivals. Don’t worry New Jersians, it looks like the trend has headed west. Hoboken joined the pack with its own film festival back in 2006. This year, you can catch the Hoboken International Film Festival beginning on May 30. If you’re interested, tickets are cheap at $9 a pop and $195 can pretty much get you all access; not to mention that some big names have lent the festival a little credibility (we already know better than to give too much credence to the label, “International,” thank you, Maddy).
Of course, we don’t recognize any of the big names, but that doesn’t mean that they’re not big. The most compelling aspect for us may just be that it’s something to do on a weekday night in Hoboken that doesn’t necessarily involve drinking (our liver hurts). Cheers to that!
