Guest of a Guest Hamptons covers the People, Places & Parties out East;
from the surf shacks in Montauk to the dunes of Westhampton Beach and all the parties in between, reported from a plank chair in the sand.
So come along for the ride and be the guest of a guest as we collect sea shells and try not to get caught up in any washed up fishing nets.

Rachelle Hruska: From the center of the country (Nebraska) to the center of the universe (NYC)...I had a rock collection that I polished everyday...this and playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the neighborhood boys was pretty much how I spent all of my free time from 1991-1993.

Dena Silver From the time she formed her first thought, Dena knew
that fashion was her calling and is still working towards breathing,
eating and sleeping with those thoughts. Born and raised in Sag
Harbor, Dena escaped to California to attend college, but will soon be
returning to the East Coast as a full time citizen, or maybe even
Paris, if her future pans out correctly.

Maggie McGlinchy: A hard-to-find Jersey shore native, Maggie grew up in Point Pleasant Beach and made it out alive without looking orange. Now living the stereotypical college lifestyle at Penn State University, she gets to wake up to the lovely smell of manure every morning due to her very central location in good ol’ Pennsylvania. When she’s not quoting Summer Heights High she is daydreaming about living on Chicago’s Gold Coast. The key to her heart is grilled swiss with tomato, but if that’s not available, sweet potato fries are a very close second. She is also a firm believer that everything tastes better through a straw.

Anna Lombardi: Anna grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, a stone's throw from NYC. Although she was always out and about in New York, Anna made her official move upon being accepted to Sarah Lawrence College; There she immersed herself in all things writing. Never one to follow the "typical" path, she found herself taking time off to explore her various passion's in the arts, working behind the scenes of the Bourne Ultimatum and for about five seconds in front of the camera with Joaquin Phoenix on his film Reservation Road. At twenty-two year's old she finally can see the light at the end of her academic tunnel, with just one more semester to go, we think.

Britta Lofgren: Spending her formative years in the Land of 10,000
Lakes, Britta jumped ship (or, canoe..) in 2006 to trade her
cross-country skis and hot pink fishing pole for the fast-paced NYC
lifestyle. She holds a degree in Marketing from the Stern School of
Business at NYU as well as an absurdly detailed knowledge of just
about every Simpsons episode ever made. As Hamptons editor and
self-proclaimed cupcake connoisseur, Britta plans to explore every
baked goods outlet out east.

Katherine Kapnick: Katherine spent the better part of her short existence in Frankfurt and London where she attended a real-life, old-fashioned, English all-girls school, knee socks and all. When she was twelve she relocated to New York’s Upper East Side and was an outcast for several years because of “that weird accent”. She later ditched the accent and tried her hand at prep-school in Connecticut, but quit after a year because it was just too preppy. She is now an incoming sophomore at the University of Virginia and plans to major in English. She is very happy to be back in the North amongst her own kind for the summer.

Samantha Kantor: Born and raised in Westchester County, Samantha just recently
graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Economics, a minor
Linguistics, and a new puppy who she just can't seem to spend enough
time with. She spent several months in Australia and New Zealand
parachuting off and out of anything she could find, but now plants her
feet firmly on the ground in her native New York and, better yet, in
the Hamptons. Though she originally thought her life was over once her
beloved LOST ended, she now revels in the sunny and scrumptious
lifestyle out East, and is more than excited to be part of the GofG
team.

Philippines, Mexico, France, and Virginia. After graduating from The
College of William and Mary with a degree in American Studies, Art, &
Art History she decided to test her luck in the The Big Apple. Her
favorite time of the year is between Memorial Day and Labor Day, where
she can be found poolside with the latest fashion magazine and a
margarita in hand. She is addicted to truffle oil, the color pink, and
online shopping. Zarah currently lives on the Lower East Side.
