Yet another Hamptons season is upon us. And, this year, we are looking forward to more Summer Shenanigans from our team out east. Britta Lofgren: Spending her formative years in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Britta jumped ship (or, canoe..) in 2006 to trade her cross-country skis and hot pink fishing pole for the fast-paced NYC lifestyle. She holds a degree in Marketing from the Stern School of Business at NYU as well as an absurdly detailed knowledge of just about every Simpsons episode ever made. As Hamptons editor and self-proclaimed cupcake connoisseur, Britta plans to explore every baked goods outlet out east.

Katherine Kapnick: Katherine spent the better part of her short existence in Frankfurt and London where she attended a real-life, old-fashioned, English all-girls school, knee socks and all. When she was twelve she relocated to New York’s Upper East Side and was an outcast for several years because of “that weird accent”. She later ditched the accent and tried her hand at prep-school in Connecticut, but quit after a year because it was just too preppy. She is now an incoming sophomore at the University of Virginia and plans to major in English. She is very happy to be back in the North amongst her own kind for the summer.
