A Very ArtHamptons Weekend: Vernissage For Felix Bonila Gerena

    Many galleries around the Hamptons hosted receptions for their newest collections during one of the highlights of the Hamptons art scene: ArtHamptons. Blaise & Co. Contemporary Art and Tripoli Gallery of Contemporary Art Date gathered a stunning crowd this past Saturday, showcasing works of Felix Bonila Gerena at the Old Stone Boys Club.with contemporary art highlighted the Hamptons with vibrant brush strokes, music, and cocktails.Celebrating the official opening of the Old Stone Boys Club, a private club displaying the members' collection of vintage and rare automobiles, Gerena's contemporary art cascaded the walls throughout the cocktail reception. Music and cocktails accented the artist's vibrant works while hosts Felix Bonilla Gerena and Blaise Niosi mingled around the crowd.

    The vernissage was one of many happening around the Hamptons last weekend to celebrate the ArtHamptons art fair; with over 600 artists represented from 93 domestic and international galleries, this year's ArtHamptons event was the largest yet.  Six countries and 35 cities were represented, including seven Hamptons area galleries, to make for an expansive array of works spanning post-war to contemporary.
