The economic crisis has hit children's charities and hospitals especially hard this year, which is why DavidBartonGym is hosting its 8th Annual and largest Toy Drive to date at the newly opened Astor Place fitness mecca. All guests will bring an unwrapped toy, which will be donated to the Metropolitan Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital, St Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, Sunny Downstate, Kings County Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital, the Lower East Side Girls Club, Northeast Community Center and Astor Kids, among others. Over the past eight years DavidBartonGym has been committed to making a difference in the lives of children in need. Past events have been hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Weisz, Rufus Wainwright, Patricia Field, Debbie Harry, Michael Musto, Zandra Rhodes and Sally Singer, among others. Barton's future goal is to expand its Toy Drive to serve DavidBartonGym communities around the country.
