A multimedia performance portrait of dancer and choreographer Suzushi Hanayagi, who is unique in the international art world, in her mastery of both classical Japanese dance traditions &non-Asian dance &theater forms. Kool combines live dance performances by a company of six dancers & is offered as a tribute, establishing Ms. Hanayagi’s place in art history. There will be an introductory talk by Robert Wilson and Alexandra Munroe, Ph.D., Senior Curator of Asian Art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
