The Ross School Tennis Center in East Hampton is pleased to present one of the most exciting events of the Hamptons season — its Grand Slam Winners Tennis Exhibition Match featuring the Tennis Channel’s Murphy Jensen and friends, on Sunday, August 30, where special guest Tennis Legend Andre Agassi will be honored. To help us pay respect to this extraordinary player and dedicated humanitarian, grand slam winner Murphy Jensen, host of Tennis Channel’s “Open Access,” and three Grand Slam Winners will play in a doubles exhibition match beginning at 1:15. Honoree Andre Agassi will not play but will oversee the competition. The exhibition match will be followed by doubles play with Hamptons celebrities, including Alec Baldwin and Christie Brinkley, who will compete against the tennis professionals. To warm up the action, famed tennis coach Nick Bollettieri, who has trained ten Number 1 players worldwide, including Agassi, Boris Becker, Jim Courier, Martina Hingis, Monica Seles, and Venus and Serena Williams, will lead a clinic open to all VIP ticket buyers at noon. Cocktails and lunch will be catered by the celebrated Ross Café. There will also be a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit Ross School scholarships and programs. A limited number of VIP tables and tickets, and general admission seats, are available.
