Stony Brook Southampton Second Annual Screenwriting Conference

Novelist, playwright, screenwriter, and director Peter Hedges will discuss his films What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, which he adapted from the novel he wrote, About A Boy, which was nominated for an Academy Award for best adaptation, Pieces of April, which he wrote and directed and Dan In Real Life. He will be interviewed by Bette Gordon, who just directed Handsome Harry, and who is the Co-Chair of the Columbia Graduate Film Program.
