| Description |
If you need to define a path or delineate a property boundary and an ordinary chain-link or stockade fence just will not do, consider instead, bamboo. Join David B. Flanagan, founder of Bamboo Fencer at a spring fencing workshop at LongHouse Reserve. Having designed and installed bamboo fences and gate systems for the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, David will define ”˜the bamboo fence,’ show examples ranging from the simple to the complex, and supervise the construction of a simple fence. You’ll leave the workshop with assembly instructions, sources, recommended readings, and a knot board showing knots and splices for creating bamboo fences.
