Actor Alec Baldwin and celebrated sculptor Dorothy Frankel will help the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) celebrate 25 years of compassionate medicine at a benefit on Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Dorothy Frankel gallery and sculpture garden. The benefit will support PCRM’s efforts to promote disease prevention through a plant-based diet and higher ethical standards in medical training, testing, and education. PCRM director of public affairs Elizabeth Kucinich and PCRM president Neal Barnard, M.D., will also discuss the organization’s recent successes and challenges ahead.
