| Description |
As the summer of 2010 starts to wrap up in the Hamptons, Wines by Morrell will hold a multi-faceted cultural event on Saturday, August 28, entitled ’The East End Festival of the Senses.’ The store is expecting several hundred people to pass through as they host free wine, free food, live music and art from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., all to benefit lung cancer research.
Wines by Morrell will open up its shop to host a silent auction for a painting by International artist Edith Ingenhaag. ’Dreams of Yesterday’ will be used for the silent auction and 100% of the proceeds from this painting will benefit Uniting Against Lung Cancer, a non-profit which funds innovative research at leading cancer centers across the U.S. and Canada to find a cure for lung cancer. Several other works displayed will be for sale. Ms. Ingenhaag will donate 30% of the sales from those paintings to Uniting Against Lung Cancer. ’Dreams of Yesterday’ is currently on display at Wines by Morrell.
At the ’East End Festival of the Senses,’ Wines by Morrell will provide guests with free wine and food as their ears are treated to the sounds of William Falkenburg, accomplished musician and artist, graduate of Parsons School of Design and resident of Sagaponack. Mr. Falkenburg will play classical and modern music.
