This July 4th weekend residents and visitors from throughout the Northeast will journey to the Hamptons for the third annual East Hampton Fine Arts Festival. Returning to the grounds of the American Legion East Hampton Post on Montauk Highway (Rte. 27) in Amagansett, the event showcases the works of 100 of the nation’s top artisans for 22 states and three foreign countries.
Over 10,000 pieces of original artwork will be available for viewing and purchase. Stroll the grassy field viewing spectacular original paintings in oils, acrylics, and watercolors, drawing, and hand-pulled prints. See breathtaking sculptures in stone, bronze, metal and glass including kinetic sculptures, smaller pieces for the home and installation-sized pieces for outdoors. Enjoy one-of-a-kind fabric art and jewelry, photography, and marvelous creations in wood, glass, ceramics and mixed-media.
The East Hampton Fine Arts Festival offers you the unique opportunity to meet and interact with the artisans, adding inestimable value not only to your appreciation of art but the pieces you purchase. Learn how the artist is inspired and the materials used in creating the artwork. Artists are available from 10-6 on Saturday and Sunday and 10-5 on Monday. Remember your wallets and purses! We know you will find artwork to enrich your life, your home, and your work place!
The East Hampton Fine Arts Festival is hosted by the East Hampton Food Pantry, serving more than 400 families throughout the eastern region of Long Island. The donation of a canned good or nonperishable food item to assist in their invaluable service to the community would be sincerely appreciated.
