Artists Against Abuse - 15th Annual Gala

Overview The 15th year of this annual event will feature a silent auction of specially commissioned hand-painted 9’ x 12’ canvases and a live auction of select original works of art. The evening includes cocktails, food and entertainment. To date, this signature event has raised over $1 million for the Retreat and its mission. June 26th - silent art auction, live art auction (Frank Stella, Dan Rizzie, James Croak, Roberto Dutesco, Robert Rauschenburg - to name a few). About The Retreat The Retreat is the only domestic violence agency on the East End of Long Island that provides both residential and non-residential comprehensive services, free of charge, to women and children in need. Our services include an 18-bed shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling and legal advocacy to assist those whose lives have been altered by violence in the home, and an award winning in-school violence prevention education program.
