This summer Dan Rattiner takes his tales off the page and into the Hamptons' scene. Dan's Paper Founder Dan Rattiner is set to celebrate the release of his latest book 'In the Hamptons Too' which tells colorful stories from the exclusive summer retreat by staging readings at several of the book's key settings. He will be doing this every Saturday and some Sunday mornings at 11am beginning May 29th and continuing through September.Meet the author on the front steps of London Jewelers at 2 Main Street for a reading of the chapter entitled 'Steven Spielberg.' Those in attendance will learn about the killer shark from the hit film JAWS and the madness that seized the town at the premiere as well as the bizarre plan to save the summer tourist season by feeding the shark raw meat from a helicopter. The chapter recounts how Spielberg and actor Roy Scheider had a huge food fight in the dining hall of the hotel they stayed at during filming.
